Una storia dalla forte impronta romantica e musicale diretta, non a caso, da quel John Carney che era già dietro la macchina da presa di Once che raccontava la love story tenera e tormentata di due musicisti a Dublino trasferita poi sui palcoscnici di Broadway e di Londra con grande successo. Il titolo questa volta è "Begin Again", in uscita in questi giorni in America e di cui ancora non si conosce la data di arrivo su nostri schermi. Questa volta, al contrario di Once che era interpretato da attori del tutto sconosciuti, il cast schiera Keira Knightley (Anna Karenina) e Mark Ruffalo (l’Hulk di Avengers) come protagonisti. Con loro poi Adam Levine, Hailee Steinfeld, Catherine Keener e James Corden. Sedotti dal sogno di sfondare in una grande città, Gretta (Keira Knightley) e il suo fidanzato di lunga data si trasferiscono a New York per seguire la loro grande passione per la musica. Lei però ha un duro colpo quando lui l’abbandona per tentare fama e fortuna con un contratto da solista. La vita di Gretta subisce però in seguito una svolta quando un discografico (Mark Ruffalo) la sente cantare in un bar e viene immediatamente colpito dal suo talento e dalla sua autenticità. I due trovano l’uno nell’altro una chance per cambiare le loro vite…
