Sono state rese note oggi le candidature ai Golden Globe 2026, Edizione numero 83, che saranno assegnati a Los Angeles il prossimo 11 gennaio. Cynthia Erivo e Ariana Grande hanno ottenuto nomination ai Golden Globe 2026 per il loro lavoro in “Wicked – Parte 2“, il secondo capitolo della versione cinematografica del musical di Broadway Wicked, uscito nelle sale il mese scorso. Erivo è candidata come Miglior Attrice in un Film, Musical o Commedia per il suo ruolo di Elphaba, diventando la prima attrice nera a essere nominata due volte in questa categoria. Grande è candidata nella categoria Miglior Attrice Non Protagonista per la sua Glinda. Entrambe erano già state nominate lo scorso anno per Wicked, rendendo queste nomination doppie e consecutive.
Wicked – Parte 2 è stato vistosamente assente dalla categoria Miglior Film, Musical o Commedia quest’anno, sebbene abbia ottenuto una nomination per il premio per il Miglior Risultato Cinematografico e al Botteghino. Le sue uniche altre candidature sono state per le nuove canzoni, con Stephen Schwartz nominato sia per “No Place Like Home” sia per “The Girl in the Bubble.”
