Sono stati consegnati al Drury Lane Theatre di Londra gli Olivier Awards 2011, i più ambti premi del teatro inglese. Per la categoria "miglior musical" la statuetta è andata a "Legally Blonde" , la cui interprete Sheridan Smith ha vinto anche il premio come miglior attrice di musical. Grande sconfitto della serata il musical sequel di "The Phantom of the Opera", "Love Never Dies" di Andrew Lloyd Webber, cui non è stato assegnato alcun premio.
